From 9 to 11 May 2019, the euvend trade fair will once again open its doors in Cologne. At Europe’s only vending platform, the aim this year is once again for exhibitors to conquer new markets and channels. In this spirit, the industry association for uniform smartcard solutions Common Smartcard will also present itself together with member companies.
The focus will be on the “barrier-free” interaction of vending machine and card. Cashless payment with smart cards is in vogue, promotes customer loyalty and increases profitability. This benefits vending machine operators and issuers as well as the consumer. However, many smart card solutions have a provider-specific coding. This makes it difficult for vending machine operators to switch to a different hardware provider. That is why Common Smartcard is working for uniform data structures in corresponding RFID projects.
